Changing the handsfree/
earpiece volume
You can set the loudspeaker volume for
handsfree talking to five different levels
and the earpiece volume to three different
levels.
In idle status:
t
¢ Handset Volume
r Set the earpiece volume.
s Scroll to the Speaker: line.
r Set the handsfree volume.
§Save§ Press display key if necessary
to save the setting perma-
nently.
Setting the volume during a call:
t Press the control key.
r Select volume.
§Save§ Press display key if necessary
to save the setting perma-
nently.
The setting will automatically be saved
after approx. 3 seconds, if not then press
the display key
§Save§.
If t is assigned to another function:
§Options§ Open menu.
Volume Select and press §OK§.
Configure setting (see above).
Changing ringer tones
u Volume:
You can choose between five volumes
(1–5; e.g. volume 2 = ˆ) and
the "crescendo" ring (6; volume
increases with each ring =
).
u Ringer tones:
You can select various ringer tones,
melodies or any sound from My stuff
(page 50).
You can set different ringer tones for the
following functions:
u Ext. Calls: for external calls
u Internal Calls: for internal calls
u Appointments: for set appointments
(page 52)
u All: the same ringer tone for all func-
tions
Settings for individual functions
Set the volume and melody depending on
the type of signalling required.
In idle status:
t
¢ Ringer Settings
q Select setting, e.g.
Ext. Calls and press
§OK§.
r Set volume (1–6).
s Scroll to the next line.
r Select melody.
§Save§ Press the display key to save
the setting.
Please note:
You can also set the call volume, the ringer
tones and the advisory tones via the menu
(see page 15).
