Installing the base station and charging cradle
The base station and charging cradle are designed for use in closed, dry rooms
within a temperature range of +5°C to +45°C.
¤ Install the base station on a level, nonslip surface in a central location in your
house or apartment, or mount the base station on the wall (
¢ page 72).
Please note
u Keep in mind the range of the base station. It is up to 985 feet (300 m) in
unobstructed outdoor areas and up to 165 feet (50 m) inside buildings.
The range is reduced when Eco mode (
¢ page 41) is activated.
u Never expose the telephone to heat sources, direct sunlight, or other electri-
cal devices.
u Protect your phone from moisture, dust, corrosive liquids, and fumes.
