– How often the appliance is
opened
– Load capacity
– Temperature of newly stored
food
– Ambient temperature
– Direct sunlight

upper area of the control panel.
2. Press and hold ⁠3sec. for
threeseconds.

unit
You can choose between the temper-
ature unit °C and °F.

Setting the refrigerator
compartment temperature
1. To activate setting mode, touch the
upper area of the control panel.
2. Press / ⁠(Refrigerator compart-
ment) repeatedly until the temper-
ature display (refrigerator compart-
ment) shows the required temper-
ature setting.
The recommended temperature in
the refrigerator compartment is
4°C (39°F).
Setting the freezer compartment
temperature
1. To activate setting mode, touch the
upper area of the control panel.
2. Press / ⁠(Freezer compartment)
repeatedly until the temperature
display (freezer compartment)
shows the required temperature
setting.
The recommended temperature in
the freezer compartment is −18°C
(0°F).
7.6 Button lock (childproof
lock)
The button lock prevents the appli-
ance from being operated accident-
ally or incorrectly while running.
Switching on the button lock
1. To activate setting mode, touch the
lower area of the control panel.
2. Press and hold ⁠lock3sec. for
threeseconds.
a ⁠"lock3sec." lights up.
Switching off the button lock
▶ Press and hold ⁠lock3sec. for
threeseconds.
a ⁠"lock3sec." goes out.

With Super cooling, the refrigerator
compartment cools as cold as pos-
sible.
Switch on Super cooling before pla-
cing large quantities of food.
Note:When Super cooling is
switched on, increased noise may
occur.
