Activate/deactivate tones.
* Press down.
In standby mode
All audible signals (including the
ringtone) can be switched off and on
again. The function ends when the
phone is switched off.
During a call
Switch off the ringtone for the
current call/alarm (not when Any to
answer, p. 77, is active). Accepting or
rejecting the call ends the function.
• The display will continue to show
a call.
• The silent alert function will
remain active if it was previously
switched on.
• The audio settings are not
changed.
Completing phone numbers in
the Phonebook/Addressbook
Digits may be replaced by a "?" when
phone numbers are entered in the
Phonebook/Addressbook:
* Press down.
These wildcards must be replaced
with numbers before dialling (e.g.,
with the extension numbers in a
phone system).
To make a call, select the phone
number from the Phonebook/
Addressbook.

Replace "?" with numbers.
A
Press, number is dialled.
Control codes (DTMF)
Send control code
You can, for example, enter control
codes (numbers) for remote access
to an automatic answering machine
while another connection exists.
These entries are transmitted
directly as DTMF codes (control
codes).
