Scope
The target region for MR Elastography product is liver.
Performing the measurement

The active driver box is switched on.

The Power LED (green) and the Awake LED (blue) on the front
panel of the active driver are illuminated. If the Awake light is not
illuminated, you must power cycle the active driver or receive input
over the Ethernet channel.
1 Select the appropriate single slice protocol.
2 If you want to acquire more than one slice, select the number of
slices needed.
3 Initiate the measurement.
The Inline Display opens automatically.
4 Give breathhold commands.
5 Click this icon in the Inline Display to start the measurement.
For monitoring the measurement, the Inline Display shows four
Magnitude images in sequence and one Wave image after
calculation is completed.
Six series of result images are generated and stored in the database.
In rare cases, T2* relaxation times in the liver are very short. This
results in a very low signal for MR Elastography so that the
confidence mask only identifies very small areas as reliably
evaluated. This may be caused by medication, but can also be
normal because T2* times in the liver vary greatly.
