Installation location
There are no restrictions regarding the installation location for the device. Antennas, in
particular directional antennas, must be mounted according to their characteristics.
Note
-
If you are installing outdoors, use the SCALANCE W786.

The minimum distance to fluorescent lamps should be 0.5 m.

When installed in a cabinet, we recommend that you do not install relays on the same or on
directly neighboring mounting rails.
