Address label: Unique MAC address preset for the CP
The CP ships with a factory-set MAC address.
The MAC address is printed on the housing.
If you configure a MAC address (ISO transport connections), we recommend that
you use the MAC address printed on the module for module configuration!
S This ensures that you assign a unique MAC address in the subnet!
S If you replace a module, the MAC address of the predecessor is adopted when
you load the configuration data; configured ISO transport connections remain
operable.
