Configuring the Station
Select the folder SIMATIC 300 Station
and double-click Hardware.
The "HW Config" window is opened
(see Section 6.1).
The CPU 315-2 DP already appears in
the rack. If necessary, open the
Hardware catalog using the menu
command View > Hardware Catalog
or the corresponding button in the
toolbar.
Drag and drop the power supply
module PS307 2A into slot 1.
In the same way, insert the I/O
modules DI32xDC24V and
DO32xDC24V/0.5A in slots 4 and 5.
In addition to the CPU which supports the
distributed I/O, you can also place other CPUs in
the same rack (not described here).
