2.3 Front Panel Buttons and LEDs
Camera

Pressing the individual camera buttons will cause the selected camera to display full
screen. They are also used to enter passwords.
Sequence When in the live mode, pressing the Sequence button displays another full live channel
sequentially.
Display Pressing the Display button toggles between different display formats.
PTZ Pressing the PTZ button opens a Pan/Tilt/Zoom screen which allows you to control
properly configured cameras.
Freeze Pressing the Freeze button freezes the current live screen.
Alarm Pressing the Alarm button resets the DVR’s outputs including the internal buzzer during
an alarm, or displays the event log when you are in the live monitoring mode unless
there is an active alarm.
Search Pressing the Search button displays the Search menu.
Menu Pressing the Menu button enters the Quick Setup screen.
Enter Pressing the Enter button selects a highlighted item or completes an entry that you have
made.
Arrow These buttons are used to navigate through menus and Graphic User Interface (GUI).
Duplex The Duplex LED is lit when the DVR is operating in the Duplex mode.
Network The Network LED is lit when the unit is networked either via Ethernet or modem.
Backup The Backup LED is lit when data is being backed up using the USB port.
REC Press the REC button to set the DVR so that it is ready to record video
2.4 System Setup
The front panel buttons are used to enter system commands and for programming.
Press MENU button on the front panel and enter the password (default: 4321) by
pressing the appropriate combination of Camera number buttons and then the
Enter button. Refer to User’s Manual for the setup instructions in detail. The
documentation is located on the CD or in the application folder on the PC hard disk
(C:\SISTORE AX\…).
