CLEANING THE FILTER
NOTE: Make sure the water tank is completely empty of water and the unit is turned
o before attempting to clean the filter.
1. The filter is located at the rear of the unit. To remove it, place your fingers inside
the small groove underneath the filter and pull it towards you until it unclips
from the main body of the unit.
2. Once the filter has been removed, rinse it under water until clean, then dab it
with a dry cloth to dry. Allow the filter to dry thoroughly before replacing.
3. When the filter is fully dry, place it back into the body of the unit. To do this,
align the two tabs on the filter cover with the two corresponding slots on the
body of the unit and push the filter upwards, then inwards, until it clicks into
place.
CAUTION! DO NOT turn the unit on or attempt to operate it when the filter is not in
place.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply
and has cooled down completely.
2. Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.
3. Do not immerse the appliance in any liquid.
4. To clean the exterior, a slightly damp, lint-free cloth may be used.
STORING THE DEHUMIDIFIER
1. Turn o the appliance and unplug it from the mains before storing.
2. Ensure that the appliance has been drained.
NOTE: To prevent mildew from building up inside the appliance, allow the unit to
stand and dry.
3. Clean the appliance as detailed above.
4. When not in use, store the dehumidifier in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of
children.
