8. Using the blender
jug
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
~ Please remember that the blades of the
blade assembly7 are very sharp:
- Never touch the blades with your
bare hands in order to avoid cuts.
- When emptying the blender jug5,
ensure not to touch the blades of the
blade assembly7.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
~ Do not use the blender jug for process-
ing particularly hard foodstuffs, such as
frozen food, bones, nutmeg, cereals or
coffee beans.
NOTE: when you use the blender jug5, the
axle23 also turns. The mixing bowl16 and
splash guard18 should therefore also be
mounted, but not a mixing tool20/21/22.
Using and removing the blade
assembly
The blender jug5 must never be used with-
out the blade assembly7, since the blade
assembly7 seals the blender jug5 on the
bottom.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
~ When removing and inserting the blade
assembly7 ensure not to touch the
blades.
~ When removing and fitting the seal6
for the blade assembly7, be careful not
to injure yourself on the blades.
In order to remove the blade assembly7,
proceed as follows:
1. Turn the blender jug5 upside down.
2. Turn the blade assembly7 clockwise at
the two handles25 until the knife as-
sembly comes loose.
3. Pull out the blade assembly7 carefully.
