Permanent drainage
You can use the supplied drainage hoseu or the EU garden hose adapteri
to set up permanent drainage.
ATTENTION
► When setting up permanent drainage, make sure that the hose is not kinked
and that it runs downwards along its entire length. Otherwise, the water
may flow back into the appliance and damage it.
► Check the entire connection system regularly for leaks.
♦ Switch off the appliance and pull the stopper9 out of the outlet opening8.
♦ Connect either the supplied drainage hoseu or the EU garden hose
adapteri to the outlet opening8 (see figures2+3).
♦ If you are using the EU garden hose adapteri, screw a garden hose onto
the EU garden hose adapteri (see figure 3).

ATTENTION
► Screw on the EU garden hose adapter hand-tight only.
Do not use a wrench as it could damage the EU garden hose adapteri.
NOTE
► Depending on the garden hose system you use, you may need an additional
adapter. These are available from specialist stores.
♦ Set up the appliance so that the end of the hose is positioned over a drain.
The open end of the hose must lie below the outlet opening8 of the appli-
ance (i.e. the hose must have a downwards gradient).
