Even when switched off, the induction
hotplate is not entirely disconnected from
the mains socket. In order to disconnect it
from the mains completely, unplug the mains
plug from the mains socket.
When disconnecting the power supply,
always pull on the plug and never on the
power cable (1) itself.
Always remove the plug from the mains
socket if you have any problems, if you are
not using the device, before cleaning and
during thunderstorms.
If you notice visible damage to the induction
hotplate or the power cable (1), switch the
device off, disconnect the mains plug from
the mains socket and contact customer
services (see "Warranty information" on
page 103).
