Maintenance / cleaning
In order to avoid burning food residues, clean the hotplate after every use.
Risk of burns!
Wait until the heating zone is completely cool before cleaning it. Otherwise you could get
burnt.
Risk of electric shock!
 Always remove the mains plug from the socket before cleaning. Failure to do so could
cause an electric shock.
 Do not poor or spray liquids onto the induction hotplate or through the ventilation slots.
This could cause short circuits which could cause electric shocks or burns.
Warning about property damage
Do not use abrasive or astringent detergents or tools which could scratch the surface. These
could damage the hotplate.
Clean the side surfaces and the mains cable with a slightly damp cloth.
Dirt and burnt-on food residues on the surface of the heating zone can be cleaned off using a scraper for
glass hotplates and an appropriate detergent.
