WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
► Do not use the refrigerator for any special purposes (e.g.
for storing medications or use on a ship). This could lead to
unexpected hazards, e.g. fires, electric shocks, spoiling of
the items being stored or chemical reactions.
► Never insert your hands or other objects into the opening on
the rear.
► The consumption of spoilt foods can lead to food poison-
ing. Incorrectly handled raw meat or fish can contaminate
adjacent foods with salmonella bacteria or similar. Do not
exceed the storage times recommended by the food manu-
facturer and ensure that the foods remain cool in the event
of a power cut or any other interruption to the power supply.
Make sure raw meat or fish is sufficiently wrapped.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Ensure that the appliance, the mains cable and the plug do
not come into contact with heat sources such as hotplates or
naked flames.
► Never place the appliance near sources of heat.
► Use only the supplied accessories.
► Never open the casing. This can lead to risks and also in-
validates the warranty.
► Do not turn the appliance upside down! This can damage
the appliance.
► Do not tilt the appliance by more than 45° during transport.
If you have to transport it horizontally, wait around 12 hours
before using it again.
► If the appliance has been disconnected from the power
supply, wait at least 5 minutes before plugging it back in.
Otherwise the compressor could be damaged.
