Use

the appliance, power plug and power cable are in perfect condition
and ...
all packaging materials and protective films have been removed from
the appliance.
Ƈ Choose a suitable set-up location for your appliance. Avoid damp, direct
sunlight and any heat sources. Set it up so that it has a minimum clearance
of 5 cm on all sides. The appliance door needs to be opened by more than
90 degrees to remove the glass shelves
and the vegetable drawer .
Ƈ Make sure that the appliance is standing level. Compensate for any uneven-
ness in the floor by using the adjustable feet
at the front of the appliance.
Ƈ Clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section entitled
"Cleaning and care".
Ƈ Install the glass shelves
, the door compartments
and the egg tray
in the appropriate locations.
Ƈ Plug the mains plug into a suitably earth mains socket and set a cooling
temperature using the temperature control
. Note the information in the
section "Temperature control".
Ƈ Wait a few hours until the appliance has reached its operating temperature
before storing any food. Leave the door closed during this period.
NOTE
Depending on the ambient temperature, it can take 2–5 hours until the
appliance has reached the desired operating temperature.
During this phase, the appliance may make operating noises. These will
decrease, however, once the set temperature has been reached.
The appliance is now ready for use.
