Saving energy
The cooler the ambient air, the less energy the appliance needs to use to
achieve the required cooling level. Therefore, never set up the appliance next
to any kind of heat source such as a radiator, dishwasher or cooker. Ensure
that there is adequate ventilation.
Do not leave the door open for too long. Otherwise, warm air will flow into
the interior and cause ice formation and higher energy consumption.
Make sure that no items or an incorrectly closed vegetable drawer
prevent the appliance door from closing properly.
Cleaning and maintenance
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the mains
power socket!
Never open any parts of the housing. There are no serviceable parts
whatsoever inside. When the housing is open, there is a risk of a potentially
fatal electrical shock.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents. These can attack the sur-
face and irreparably damage the appliance.
The following substances may not be used for cleaning due to their detri-
mental effect on the appliance surfaces and plastic components: caustic
cleaning agents, soap, scouring powder, brushes, alcohol, petrol.
Do not use fatty or oily substances to clean the door seal. This can make it
porous.
If the appliance has been disconnected from the power supply, wait at least
5 minutes before plugging it back in.
