► Do not fry foods in the microwave. Hot oil can damage
parts of the appliance and utensils and even cause skin
burns.
► Always shake up or stir heated up jars of baby food or baby
bottles! The contents can heat up unevenly and burn or
scold your baby. Always check the temperature before you
feed your baby!
► Do not modify the microwave oven.
► Microwave radiation is dangerous! Maintenance or repair
work which involves removal of the covers that prevent
microwave exposure should only be carried out by trained
technicians.
► Always check the temperature of the food before eating, to
avoid a potentially life-threatening burning injury, for in-
stance, to babies. Cooking utensils can become hot from the
heat emitted by the food, therefore you may require oven
gloves to touch them. Cooking utensils must also be checked
to ensure they are microwaveable.
