Removing a blockage
Excessively moist, large or hard ingredients can block the screw press . If this
happens, the press screw  stops automatically, the control lamp .flashes
alternately green/red.
Sometimes it is enough to stir the contents of funnel carefully with a spoon or
similar. Then replace the lid  and check whether the appliance is ready to
resume operation by pressing the
button 3. If this is not the case, proceed as
follows:
♦ Press and hold the button ! for at least 5 seconds to activate the reverse
function. The press screw  runs in the reverse direction, the control lamp .
flashes green rapidly.
♦ Release the
button ! to stop the reverse function. The control lamp .
lights up red again.
♦ Press the
button 3 to start the appliance.
If the blockage persists:
♦ Remove the power plug from the socket.
♦ Tilt the appliance to remove any remaining ingredients from funnel  and
pour them into a suitable container.
♦ Check the ingredients for foreign bodies and condition (see section
”The right ingredients”).
♦ The appliance or the press screw  may be 'stuck' due to excessively moist
ingredients. Clean the appliance as described in the section ”Cleaning”.
♦ Continue as described in the section ”Producing vegetable oil”.
