Reset function/Safety cut-out
This appliance is equipped with a safety cut-out to protect the motor.
If fruit pieces get stuck and the appliance turns itself off, the safety cut-out has
tripped. The appliance switches itself off before the motor can be damaged due
to overheating.
The appliance cannot be switched back on until you reset the safety cut-out.
Proceed as follows to be able to use the appliance again:
– Set the On/Off switch
to the “O” position and pull the plug of the
power cable
out of the socket. Allow the appliance to cool down
for 10–15 minutes.
– Turn the housing lid anticlockwise until the marking points towards
the
marking on the sieve tray holder .
– Remove the housing lid
.
– Remove the fruit or vegetable pieces causing the blockage.
– Carefully remove the sieve tray and turn the appliance base over.
– Insert the plug of the power cable
into a mains socket.
– Press the RESET button that is on the underside of the appliance
base .
– Pull the plug of the power cable
out of the socket and turn the
appliance base over.
– Reassemble the appliance as described in the following section and
continue with juice extraction.
Assembling and operating the appliance
■ Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all component parts
thoroughly as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.
■ Install the appliance in accordance with the safety instructions.
