4) Clean the hand blender 5, the blade holder 6 the blender jug 8, the
lid
9 and the sealing ring 0 thoroughly in washing-up water and rinse
them afterwards in fresh water to remove any detergent residues.
5) Dry everything thoroughly with a dry cloth and ensure that the appliance is
completely dry before reuse.
NOTE
If you clean the appliance directly after use, you can usually achieve sufficiently
hygienic cleaning results for the blender jug
8 and the blade holder 6 by
using the following alternatives:
► Fill the blender jug
8 with about 400 ml of water and add a few drops of
mild detergent.
► Fit the blender jug
6 onto the blade holder 8 and screw them firmly together.
Then screw the blade holder
6 onto the motor unit 4 (see section
"Assembly").
► Press the
button
2 a few times so that the blade 7 churns through the
water.
► Afterwards, rinse the blender jug
8 and the blade holder 6 with plenty
of fresh water until all detergent residues are removed.
Storage
Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free and dry location.
