8. Before initial use
8.1 Inserting the batteries
 Remove the wall mount [B] from the outdoor unit [A]. When doing so, keep firm hold of the wall mount
[B], push the outdoor unit [A] upwards slightly and then remove this from the front.
 To insert the batteries [I], remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the outdoor unit [A]
by taking hold of the lug on the battery compartment cover and lifting up the cover. Now prise the
battery compartment cover [12] off the battery compartment.
 Now insert the enclosed batteries [I]. Ensure the correct
polarity (+ and -) when inserting the batteries. The polarity is
marked on the batteries [I] and on the battery compartment
[12]. The light ring on the bell button [5] will now light up or
flash red a few times.
 Now reattach the battery compartment lid on the battery
compartment [12].
