CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL
Hydrostatic Fluid Level
1. Allow tractor to cool after operation. Fluid must be cool
for an accurate check.
2. The fluid level is visible in the reservoir (figure 23)
without removing cap. The level should be between the
two lines. If not, go to step 3.
3. Raise the seat deck.
4. Before removing reservoircap, clearallgrassanddebris
from battery compartment and area around the hydro
reservoir.
5. Remove the reservoir cap. If diaphragm does not come
out with cap, remove it. Add 30W premium grade
nondetergent oil as required. If oil is black or milky, see
your dealer to determine cause.
6. Check the level again after operating the tractor a few
times. If level is consistently low, see your dealer to
check for leaks.
