^WARNING
For
your
personal
safety
when
removing
or
installing
battery
cables,
always
disconnect
the
negative
cable
FIRST
and
reconnect
it
LAST.
The
positive
battery
terminal
can
easily
be
shorted
to
the
tractor
frame
by
a
wrench
or
other
tool
if
this
is
not
done.
^WARNING
Be
careful
when
handling
the
battery.
Avoid
spilling
electrolyte.
Keep
flames
and
sparks
away
from
the
battery.
Check
Fluid
Level
Check
the
battery
fluid
level.
Wipe
dirt
from
around
the
caps
then
remove
the
caps
one
at
a
time.
The
fluid
must
be
even
with
the
bottom
of
the
split
ring.
If
not,
add
distilled
water.
Reinstall
the
caps.
Be
sure
the
cover
is
in
place
over
positive
terminal.
Cleaning
Battery
and
Cables.
1.
Disconnect
the
cables
from
the
battery,
negative
cable
first.
A
positive
sign
is
stamped
on
the
battery
next
to
the
positive
terminal.
