Steering linkage is loose. Check and tighten any loose connections.
Improper tire inflation. Check and correct.
Spindle bearings dry. Grease spindles. __

Lift cable not attached or damaged. Attach or repair. _
Mower not leveled properly. See Mower Leveling.
Tires not inflated equally or properly. _.
Engine speed too slow. Set for three-fourths to full speed.
