power

tors,
it
is
sometimes
not
possible
to
zero
the
meter
with
the
ZERO
ADJ.
control.

low
level
indication
of
Beta
may
be
obtained
as
follows:
1.
Set
the
ZERO
ADJ.
for
the
lowest
convenient
reading
on
the
meter.
Record
this
reading.
2.
Set
the
BETA
switch
to
250.
Record
this
reading.
3.
Subtract
the
reading
of
Step
1
from
Step
2;
the
difference
will
be
the
Beta
for
the
transistor.
