Why won't my Simpson ALH3425-S engine start?
    • G
      Gerald SmithAug 5, 2025
The engine of your Simpson Pressure Washer might not start due to several reasons. It could be due to no fuel, so add fresh fuel. If pressure builds up after a couple of pulls, squeeze the gun trigger to relieve the pressure. Check that the choke lever is in the correct position. Also, ensure the spark plug wire is attached and the engine switch is in the ON position. If the engine is hot, make sure the choke lever is in the "No Choke" position.

What to do if Simpson Pressure Washer has no or low pressure?
    • J
      Juan McdonaldAug 11, 2025
If your Simpson Pressure Washer has no or low pressure, ensure the spray wand is in high pressure. Also, check that the water supply is at least 5 gpm @ 20 PSI. Repair any leaks at the high-pressure hose fitting, applying sealant tape if needed. Additionally, ensure the nozzle isn't obstructed, and the water filter screen isn't clogged; clean the filter if necessary.

Why Simpson ALH3425-S won't draw chemicals?
    • A
      aaron97Aug 17, 2025
Your Simpson Pressure Washer may not draw chemicals for several reasons. Ensure the spray wand is set to low pressure. Check and clean the chemical filter if it's clogged. Make sure the detergent siphon hose is fully submerged in the cleaning solution. If the chemical is too thick, dilute it to the consistency of water. Avoid using a high-pressure hose that is too long; instead, lengthen the water supply hose.

Worn drain plug o-ring - check and replace if needed. 3. Worn fill plug o-ring - check and replace if needed. 4. Pump overfilled - check for the correct amount. 5.
