  If your Simpson Pressure Washer has no or low pressure upon initial use, there are several potential causes. Ensure the spray wand is set to high pressure. Confirm that your water supply provides at least 5 gpm at 20 psi. Inspect for leaks at the high-pressure hose fitting and repair if necessary, using sealant tape. Check for and clear any obstructions in the nozzle. Remove and clean the water filter screen. Also, make sure there is no air in the hose by disconnecting the water source, removing air, and reconnecting. Ensure the choke is in the “No Choke” position. Finally, verify that your high-pressure hose is under 100 feet (30 m).
