What to do if water is leaking at the pump of my Simpson MSV2700?
    • E
      Edwin CastroAug 5, 2025
If you're experiencing water leaking at the pump of your Simpson Pressure Washer, start by tightening any loose hose connections. If the connections are already tight, the piston packings or o-rings may be worn or broken, or the pump head or tubes may be damaged from freezing. In these cases, you should have the parts cleaned or replaced by an Authorized Service Center.

What to do if my Simpson MSV2700 Pressure Washer will not draw chemicals?
    • A
      Andrew RichardsonAug 10, 2025
Your Simpson Pressure Washer might not be drawing chemicals due to a few reasons. Check that the spray wand is set to low pressure. Ensure the chemical filter is clean and that the chemical screen is fully submerged in the cleaning solution. If the chemical is too thick, dilute it to the consistency of water. Use a longer water supply hose instead of a long high-pressure hose. If there's chemical buildup in the chemical injector, it should be cleaned or replaced by an authorized service center.

Why does my Simpson Pressure Washer have no or low pressure?
    • W
      wmullinsOct 30, 2025
The Simpson Pressure Washer may have no or low pressure because of several reasons. First, ensure the spray wand is in the correct high-pressure position. The water supply must be at least 5 GPM and 20 PSI. Check for leaks at the high-pressure hose fitting and repair them, using sealant tape if needed. Clean any obstructions from the nozzle, and remove and clean the water filter screen if clogged. Air in the hose can also cause this issue; remove air from the hose by following this procedure: turn off the engine, then the water source; disconnect the water source from the pump inlet and turn the water source on to remove all the air from the hose; when a steady stream of water is present, turn the water source off; re-connect water source to pump inlet and turn on water source; squeeze tri...
