For select pattern "A" with pattern selector dial.
Adjust the stitch length with the stitch length dial.
Choose your needle position, from center position to left needle
position by changing the stitch width dial from "0" to "5".

Generally speaking, the thicker the fabric, thread and needle,
the longer the stitch should be.

Set the machine as illustrated.
Turn the pattern selector dial to " ".
The maximum zigzag stitch width for zigzag stitching is "5";
however, the width can be reduced on any patterns. The width
increases as you move zigzag dial from "0" - "5".
The density of zigzag stitches increase as the setting of stitch
length dial approaches "0".
Neat zigzag stitches are usually achieved at "2.5" or below
Dense zigzag stitches (close together) are referred to as a satin
stitch.
