TO REMOVE THE FEED WHEEL
Remove the feed wheel cover and the throat
plate. Loosen set screw R, Fig. 26 and clamp screw
S. Remove stud screw U, press pinion gear T down,
and with a slight pressure the feed wheel V will snap
off.
Follow instructions and oil machine regularly.
The machine pulley must always turn over toward the
operator.
Do not run the machine with the roller presser resting
on the feed wheel without material under
the roller presser.
Do not run the machine when both bobbin case and
needle are threaded, unless there is material
under the roller presser.
Do not try to help the machine by pulling the material.
The machine feeds without assistance.
The slide over the bobbin case should be kept closed
when the machine is in operation.
Do not touch the stitch regulator lever while the ma¬
chine is running.
