9. Always place or use the appliance on a stable and
horizontal surface.
10. The use of any accessory not recommended by
manufacturer may cause injuries to the person using
the appliance or damage the appliance.
11. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the
surface on which the stand is placed is stable.
12. The drain water cap must always be well closed during
the use of the appliance.
13. Never fi ll the water tank with hot water, scent, vinegar,
starch, descaler, fabric softener or any other chemical
reagent.
14. Unplug the appliance from wall outlet when not in use,
before fi lling with water or cleaning it.
15. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than
its intended use.
16. This appliance can be used by children from 8 years
old and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning how to use the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
17. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
18. The iron must not be left unattended while it is
connected to the mains supply
19. The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet
before the water reservoir is fi lled with water.
