  If your SINMAG SM-402 mixer starts and then stops, it could be due to the mixer's overload being activated or a fuse overload at the power board. The overload resets automatically after 10 minutes. If the overload occurs repeatedly, or you suspect a fuse overload, contact your supervisor or W & P Reedy.

How to troubleshoot a SINMAG SM-402 Mixer that won't start?

  If your SINMAG SM-402 mixer does not start, ensure that it is properly plugged in and switched on. Also, make sure the power is turned on, the guard is closed, and the start button is pressed. Verify that the handle and bowl are correctly positioned (pulled up). You may also need to release something by rotating and pulling. If issues persist, contact your supervisor, or wait for an automatic reset (approximately 10 minutes).

  If the electric motor of your SINMAG SM-402 mixer is running but the planetary does not turn, it indicates an electrical or mechanical malfunction. Immediately switch off the power at the main switch, isolate the moulder by removing the wall plug, and attach a danger tag to the machine. Then, contact W & P Reedy for assistance.

  If your SINMAG SM-402 mixer labours under load, it could be due to a mix that is too stiff or tight, a mechanical malfunction, or loose drive belts. Review and adjust your recipes to ensure the mix is not too stiff. If you suspect a mechanical malfunction, advise your supervisor.
