3. Preparation of a mower for mowing
After attaching the machine to the
tractor, the following requirements
should be checked prior to transport:
– Turn off the tractor engine and pull out
the key.
– Check all the vital parts of the machine,
especially the wear and tear of the
blades, disks, quick blade change,
cleanliness of the ridge, oil level in the
drives, lubrication of all three folds, the
canvas, hydraulic pipes, welded
joints, ...
– Check the attachment of the machine
to the tractor (operating height of the
hitch, mount hitch installation and hitch
inclination in direction of movement of
3 degrees).
– Check the operation of the hydraulic
pressure lifts and relief pressure.
– All guards must be undamaged and
active.
– Make sure that no one is in the vicinity
of the machine – high risk of injury!
– Conduct a test run on the machine at
540/1,000 rpm.
– In the event of excess noise or shaking,
stop the test run and correct the error
or damage.
– If error persists, contact an authorised
service centre.
– If all the above criteria are met, the
machine is ready for operation.
– In the event of damage or excessive
wear of any vital parts of the machine,
they must be replaced with new original
parts.
– Each disc must have two blades that
are new or evenly worn out.
– Damaged or excessively worn out
discs must be replaced.
– Replace the damaged protection
curtain with the new one.
