The mower in transport position:
– Change the covers (1) on the left and right hand
side over to the transport position.
– Lift the cutter bar into the transport position.
– Place the cutter bar into the centre.
The mower from transport to work position:
– Lower the cutter bar to the working position.
– Change the covers (1) on the left and right side over
to the working position.
5. Mowing
– Perform the repair work, maintenance,
cleaning and stopping works only with
the switched off drive and stand still
engine! Remove the ignition key.
– Maximum number of P.T.O. shaft
rotations is 540/1,000 rpm. Working
with maximum rpm is recommanded.
Suitable driving speed is to be selected.
Pay special attention when driving
downwards!
– All protections must be undamaged and
in protective position.
– There is a danger of hard substance
eject near the machine when mowing
(stone, cutting blade). Nobody is
allowed to stay near the working area
when mowing!
– It is forbidden to climb on the machine
or driving on it!
– Check the position of the hitch.
– Check the operation of the floating
position.
– Check the set relief pressure or spring
relief.
– Set the slow start-up of the machine.
– Set the number of cardan shaft
rotations to 540/1,000 rpm.
– Stop mowing when sudden noise or
vibration appears. Continue after
eliminating the disturbance otherwise
require service intervention.
– Adapt the driving speed to the
conditions.
5.1 Lifting the cutter bars when driving into new
row
When changing from a mowed row to a new one, you
can raise the cutter bar with the tractor arms.
During lifting, take care not to exceed a maximum
cardan shaft angle of 25º. This will reflect in excess
noise and extreme vibrations. If the latter occurs,
immediately uncouple the cardan shaft and lower the
lift height for future work.
– There is a danger of hard parts flying
from the mower when mowing (stones,
blade). Nobody is allowed to stay in the
danger area of the machine when
mowing!
– Take care not to exceed the cardan
shaft angle of 25º.
Raising the cutter bar
– Switch off the swimming position.
– Raise the cutter bar.
Lowering the cutter bar
– Lower the cutter bar.
– Engage the floating position of the tractor arms.
