The MAIN ESSID field shows the current network name of your range extender. You can change this
to whatever you like. The network name is the name showed in the network centre on your PC or
laptop.
The SSID Root AP shows the network to which the range extender is connected. We advise against
changing this.
In the Channel number field you can set the range extender to operate on another channel. This
must, however, always be the same channel used by the router (or modem router) to which you are
making a connection.
Under Mode you can also configure the WL-330 as an access point. In that case the connection
between the WL-330 and your router (or modem router) is not made wirelessly but rather via a
network cable. In this mode the WL-330 will still broadcast a wireless signal to the receiving devices.
The View active clients button starts a scan in which the range extender determines which devices
with a wireless receiver are currently connected. Click this button for a list. When you click the
Network scan button the range extender creates a list of all the wireless networks in the vicinity.
You can establish a connection to a network directly from that list.
