Do you have a question about the SKF Lincoln 85552 and is the answer not in the manual?
The Lincoln FlowMaster 24 V DC Rotary driven electric pump, Series "B," is designed for centralized lubrication systems, including Single Line Parallel, Single Line Progressive, and Two Line systems. It uses a 24 V DC motor with either a single or two-stage planetary gear drive. Grease output is directly proportional to the pump's revolutions per minute (rpm). The pump operates by converting the motor's rotary motion into reciprocating motion through an eccentric crank mechanism, causing the pump cylinder to move up and down. It functions as a positive displacement, double-acting pump, delivering grease during both the up and down strokes. The pump motor includes an integral speed control that can reduce the pump speed to 10% of its maximum value.
The FlowMaster pump is primarily used to pump and dispense lubricants. During the down stroke, the pump cylinder extends into the grease, and through a combination of shovel action and vacuum, grease is forced into the pump cylinder. Simultaneously, grease is discharged through the pump's outlet. The volume of grease taken in during intake is twice the amount of grease output during one cycle. During the upstroke, the inlet check closes, and half of the grease taken in during the previous stroke is transferred through the outlet check and discharged to the outlet port.
