SKF TKRT 20
3.10 Time interval measurement - int
See section 3.1
Select int mode.
This mode allows measurement of Time between pulses from
optical system (or contactor).
Optically the instrument will measure the time in seconds between
pulses, useful for cycle timing of reciprocating machinery.
(Time in seconds per revolution), which equals reciprocal speed.
Very slow speeds can be measured in this mode below 3 rpm.
3.11 Display orientation - Inverting function - All modes
The instrument can be used through 180° rotation
(e.g. with the light beam pointing downward into a machine),
the display inverts so that normal reading can take place.
The UP Button selects normal mode for optical and contact measurements.
The Down button selects the display inversion mode and the whole
display including relevant icons will reverse through 180 degrees
allowing access to difficult applications.
3.12 Remote Input
The TKRT 20 can be connected to a remote laser sensor, designation
TMRT 1-56. Plug the remote input into the jack socket located at the
rear end of the instrument. The TKRT 20 will now operate as normal but
the sensing will be via the remote laser.
The remote sensor may be hand held or mounted on a bracket,
designation TMRT 1-60, enabling permanent mounting.
Note:
The internal optical system is automatically disabled in this mode.
3.13 Battery replacement
Power requirements: 4 x AAA alkaline cells.
