Observing the following statements and warnings reduces the likelihood of serious or fatal injury.

- Place the equipment on level ground, not less than 6 ft (1.8 m) from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, garage, house, overhanging
branches, laundry lines, or electrical wires.
- WARNING: Maximum fall height must not exceed 98 inches (250cm) and Minimum ground clearance is 13.7inches (35cm)
- The clearance to adjacent swing elements must be placed at a distance of at least 8in.(205mm)
- Remove their bike or other sports helmet before playing on the playground equipment.
- Dress children with well fitting and full foot enclosing footwear. Examples of inappropriate footwear are clogs, flip flops, and sandals.
- To prevent serious injury, children must not use the equipment until properly installed. Never use the line when it is wet or if there is rain or lightning
in the area.
- Do not install home playground equipment over concrete, asphalt, packed earth, grass, carpet, or any other hard surface. A fall onto a hard surface can
result in serious injury or death to the equipment user.
- Disassemble and dispose of the Skate Swing per city regulations.
- Do not to walk close to, in front of, behind, or between moving items.
- Do not twist swing chains or ropes or loop them over the top support bar since this may reduce the strength of the strap
- Do not to use the equipment in a manner other than intended.
- Do not wear inappropriate items, such as but not limited to, loose fitting clothing, hood and neck drawstrings, scarves, cord-connected items, capes
and ponchos. These items can cause death by strangulation.
- Do not to attach items to the playground equipment that are not specifically designed for use with the equipment, such as, but not limited to, jump
ropes, clothesline, pet leashes, cables and chain as they may cause a strangulation hazard.
- Children should avoid swinging empty seats.
- Do not get off equipment while it is in motion.
Play Structure Installation
- The minimum distance between the suspension points of a swing measured along the crossbeam shall be calculated as follows A= 0,04h + B (ie; A= .04
x the height of the swing (H) + the width of the swing(B))
• A is the distance between the suspension points along the crossbeam;
• B is the distance between the junction points of the swing element and the means of suspension;
• H is the distance from the ground to the lower side of the crossbeam)
• Minimum clearances between the outer extremity of the swing element and stationary members shall be 7in.(180mm) when measured at a
height of 28in.(710mm) above the seating surface.
