Unplug projector, note mercury warning, and gather tools for lamp replacement.
Open projector cover, unscrew and carefully remove the old lamp unit.
Recycle the mercury-containing lamp according to local regulations.
Insert the new lamp, secure it, and close the projector cover.
Plug in the projector and reset the lamp hour counter via the remote control.
Information on WEEE, battery regulations, and mercury content in the lamp.
