What to do if my Smartech SBC-125 Remote Starter displays NO-CONNECT?
    • J
      jleeJul 28, 2025
If your Smartech Remote Starter shows a NO-CONNECT message, it could be due to several reasons: an open circuit, dirty battery posts, a dead battery (voltage below 1V), or an output short circuit. Try the following: * Ensure the red and black clamps are firmly connected to the battery posts. * Clean the battery posts if they are dirty. * If the battery is dead, replace it immediately. * Disconnect the red and black output terminals to resolve a short circuit.

Why does my Smartech SBC-125 Remote Starter show an OVER-TEMP display?
    • J
      Jennifer JenkinsAug 7, 2025
The OVER-TEMP display on your Smartech Remote Starter indicates that the overheat protection has been activated. When the charger's internal temperature is too high, the current reduces automatically. After the charger cools down for a few minutes, it will automatically resume charging at a 62A CHARGE/MAINTAIN rate if a battery is connected, and the battery type has memory function and is the same as before.

    • T
      trevorlaneAug 16, 2025
The REVERSED display and lit REVERSE CONNECTION LED on your Smartech Remote Starter indicate reverse polarity. To fix this, change the red and black clamps to the correct battery posts.
