Connecting to EX600-MEC1
The following screen shows an example when the IP address of EX600-MEC1 is 192.168.0.1.
Refer to page 113 for how to set the IP address.
(1) Open a web browser on the PC running TwinCAT
®
.
(2) Match the top 3 octets of the IP address between the PC and EX600.
E.g., The IP address of PC is 192.168.0.250 (subnet mask 255.255.255.0)
(3) Type the IP address of EX600-MEC1 on the web browser. (E.g., http://192.168.0.1)
The EX600 web page should load after several seconds.
The loading speed is affected by EtherCAT
®
communication cycle and mailbox size.
It may take some time depending on communication conditions.
NOTE
Use only one computer should have access to the SI unit.
When Administrator is selected and
inputting password, the screen will be
switched to Admin mode.
Default setting password is admin.
When Monitor only is selected, the screen is
switched to Monitor only mode.
No password is required.
