(12) When Force mode in each unit is selected, the FORCE MODE web page is displayed.
It will not appear on some units that do not support force mode.
■The forced input/output function is used to change the signal status forcibly. When operating this
function, be sure to check the safety of the surrounding and equipment.
Otherwise, injury or equipment damage could result.
NOTE
Force Mode can be enabled when the SI unit is transitioning to Pre-Operational or Safe-Operational.
There are two ways to cancel the forced mode: select Reset or Logout from the web server.
Please note that if the forced mode is canceled while EtherCAT
®
communication with the PLC is
established, the input/output data with the PLC will be reflected immediately.
The yellow background shows
the forced state.
To change forced ON/OFF, this
toggle is required.
When this toggle is ON, the
following dialog will be displayed.
After checking the safety of the
surrounding and equipment, select OK.
