General instructions for installing the drain
Make sure to use a drain trap. When installing the drain connection, take the following precautions:
Since the drain water temperature can be as high as 95°C (models with heat disinfection), the end of the
drain hose must be fixed permanently to the hose fitting, using the hose clamps provided.
The drain hose must not have any tight bends or constrictions.
The end of the drain hose must be at a height above the surface supporting the dishwasher which complies
with specifications.
It must not be submerged in water.
The internal diameter of the drain pipe must be no less than 40 mm.
We recommend using a drain pipe of 50 mm diameter.
Do not install extensions to the drain hose supplied with the appliance in order to avoid back water flowing
into the washing tank
