REPLACING SILICON OF THE SEALING BAR AND PTFE ON
CONTRAST BAR
MACHINE STATUS: machine in stop
FREQUENCY:
- silicon profile: ogni 800.000 sealing cyclus
- 1° PTFE external layer: every 300.000 packs
- 2° PTFE layer: every 1.000.000 packs
REQUIRED MATERIAL:
silicon profile, PTFE and double-sided tape
PROCEDURE:
Take down PTFE layers (8), (9), (12), (13) and then also take down the silicone profile (11) checking the
state of the two-sided tape underneath, replacing it if necessary.
Cut a new silicon profile of the same length as the old one and, only after having cleaned the silicon with
solvent, insert it in the proper seat making sure it sticks perfectly to the double-sided tape. Position the
PTFE (8) and (9) above the silicone profile and then also position the PTFE layers (12) and (13) making
sure to wind their ends (X) and (Y) as shown in the figure so that it does not detach.
