7.3 Intended use of the machine and not permitted uses
The machine has been built for the packaging of a wide range of products for the following
market sectors: printing industry, stationery, computer industry, laundry, household, toys,
cosmetics, pharmaceutical, electric-electronic, plastic, wood, paper, detergents, mechanical
industry, cases and boxes, shelving etc.
Depending on the machine model it is possible to meet the following maximum productions:
up to 50 packs / minute for FP6000
up to 60 packs / minute for FP6000CS
up to 45 packs / minute for FP8000CS
The limiting dimensions and weight of the pack that can be worked with the machine are
described in section 5.1.
Centre-folded polyolefin or polyethylene film can be used for wrapping, with the features
described in paragraph 5.2.
7.3.1 Operating modes
The following operating modes are expected:
operation with manual controls limited to some elements of the machine (mode to use for
the preparation / adjustment of the machine in the format change);
full operation in automatic cycle.
7.3.2 Infeeding / loading systems
The product loading on the machine happens by means of a external conveyor belt inasmuch
the machine for its features must be inserted within an automatic line.
7.3.3 Unloading system
The product unloading on the machine happens by means of a external conveyor belt
inasmuch the machine for its features must be inserted within an automatic line.
7.3.4 Non-permissible use
Using the machine for the following is considered improper and unintended use and is
therefore dangerous:
packaging flammable products.
packaging explosive products.
packaging loose or volatile powder products.
packaging products that deteriorate when exposed to high temperatures.
packaging formats of different sizes other than those specified in paragraph 5.1.
packaging formats using materials (products, film) with characteristics other than those
specified in paragraphs 5.1 - 5.2.
packaging at higher speeds than those allowed.
with insufficient minimum installation clearance.
