ZONE D-E : Sealing bar and cutting knife
Residual risk:
Crushing and cutting hazard, if operating near the sealing bar and cutting knife. This risk is
partially reduced due to the presence of a device that stops the movement of the sealing bar
reopening when it detects the presence of an obstacle that prevents proper operation.
Risk of burns by contact with the hot sealing bar or adjacent areas.
Prescribed standards of conduct:
Do not perform any operation for any reason on these particularly dangerous mechanical parts
when the machine is operating. In case of need, before proceeding to performing a procedure
in that area, stop the operation of the machine and/or if necessary press the emergency button.
It is essential, however, to work with protective gloves to prevent possible burns.
ZONE F: Film waste collection device
Residual risk:
Crushing and/or entanglement caused by the rotary movement of the film waste collection
device.
Prescribed standards of conduct:
Do not touch the waste collection device while the machine is operating.
