The APOLLO-D9 serves as an intelligent diagnostic system, providing access to code-specific repair information, functional tests, OEM bulletins, and Smart Data, all integrated into a single menu. It facilitates vehicle communication through its scanner functionality, supporting various diagnostic tasks from basic code reading to complex system analysis.

Key Functions:

  • Intelligent Diagnostics: Accesses code-specific repair information, functional tests, OEM bulletins, and Smart Data. This feature helps in quickly identifying and resolving issues by providing relevant data and repair procedures.
  • Scanner: Enables vehicle communication, allowing for comprehensive scanning functionality. This includes Code Scan for multiple systems, Data Graphing for viewing multiple PID graphs simultaneously for comparison, and Tests/Resets for performing functional component tests and adaptive relearns.
  • OBD-II/EOBD: Provides quick access to global OBD-II/EOBD codes, tests, and data without requiring vehicle identification. This includes OBD Direct for accessing service modes ($01 to $0A) to view current diagnostic trouble codes, parameter data, freeze frame information, O2 sensor monitoring test results, and calibration numbers.   • Snap-on Cloud Integration: Automatically transfers code scans, ADAS recalibration reports, and screenshots to the Snap-on Cloud, enabling users to print and share files from a mobile device. Wi-Fi is required for this feature.

  3. Power On: Press the Power button.
  4. Wi-Fi Setup: Connect the tool to a Wi-Fi network via Tools > Settings > Configure Wi-Fi. This is crucial for software updates, Intelligent Diagnostics, and Quick Lookups.
  5. Account Creation: Record the Serial Number, PIN, and Code from the Get Connected screen (Tools > Get Connected). Visit https://ALTUSDRIVE.com to create an individual account or add the device to an existing SureTrack account.
  6. Vehicle Scan: Turn ignition on, connect the Data Cable to the vehicle and tool, follow Instant ID prompts or select Scanner to identify the vehicle, then select a system and test.
