Observe the position of the reverse mechanism before
operating the tool and be aware of rotation direction
when you press the trigger. Sudden changes in motion
or position can cause injury.
Risk of entanglement.
Keep body parts away from rotating parts.
Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.
Keep handle dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
Do not lock or tape the trigger in the ON position.
Remove battery pack before changing accessories.
Entanglement can cause injury.
Using damaged or incorrect bits or accessories can
cause flying particles.
Do not use chipped, cracked or damaged bits or
accessories.
Use only power or impact sockets and accessories.
Use only ball-joint flexible sockets. Do not use square
block type flex sockets.
When using extensions, hold ratchet so that socket fits
straight on the fastener. Flying particles can cause
injury.
Improper repairs or lack of maintenance can create
hazards.
Do not use the tool if it vibrates too much, makes
unusual noises, has loose parts, or shows any other
signs of damage.
If the tool malfunctions, discontinue use and
immediately arrange for service and repair.
Do not lubricate or clean tools with flammable or
volatile liquids such as kerosene, gasoline, diesel, or
jet fuel. Improper parts, repair or maintenance can cause
injury.
Battery Pack Safety
Messages
Risk of explosion or fire.
Do not store the tool and battery in locations where the
temperature may reach or exceed 120°F (49°C).
CTC772A/CTCA772A/CTCEU772A/CTCJ772A charger
will not charge battery when temperature is below 32°F
(0°C) or above 113°F (45°C).
Do not incinerate the battery, even if severely damaged
or completely exhausted. The battery may explode in
fire.
Cover the battery pack terminals with heavy adhesive
tape after removing the battery pack.
Do not attempt to destroy or disassemble the battery
pack or remove any of its components.
Do not charge battery pack using an engine generator
or DC power source.
Charge battery pack in a well ventilated area.
Explosion or flames can cause injury.
Risk of electric shock.
Do not disassemble the battery.
Do not short circuit the battery.
Charge battery pack only with Snap-on brand chargers
for specified battery packs.
Disconnect battery pack when not in use, before
servicing and when changing accessories.
Do not charge battery pack using an engine generator
or DC power source. Electric shock or fire can cause
injury.
Risk of burn.
Battery leakage may occur under conditions of extreme
usage or temperature.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally
occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,
additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the
battery may cause irritation or burns.
Ensure the switch is in the off position before inserting
battery pack. Inserting the battery pack into power tools
that have the switch on invites accidents.
When battery pack is not in use, do not place it in a
clothing pocket. Battery leakage or sparks may cause
burns or fire.
Risk of short circuit and fire.
Do not short battery pack.
Do not touch the terminals with any conductive
material.
Avoid storing battery pack with conductive materials
such as nails, screws, coins, and other metallics
objects.
Do not carry battery pack in aprons or pockets that
contain conductive objects. Short circuit can cause fire
and severe burns.
