  If your Snapper Lawn Mower engine stalls easily when the mower is engaged, try setting the engine speed to full throttle and slowing down your ground speed. For a dirty or clogged air filter, consult the Engine Manual. If the cutting height is set too low, especially in tall grass, raise it to the maximum during the first pass. Ensure the discharge chute isn't jamming with cut grass by directing the discharge towards the previously cut area. Also, make sure the engine is warmed up by running it for several minutes before engaging the mower, and start the mower in a cleared area rather than in tall grass.
